Seven Deadly Sins & Dinner
Spring has finally arrived and it was well deserved. This past winter has been a pretty dark one with all the series of unfortunate events occurring in my town. I mean I used to read those books as a kid but I never would've imagined that it could possibly be my reality. Even though I am not completely involved in the whole process of the murder and relative events leading up to that I am apart of the community and was placed in the midst of the wrath coming from the aftermath of the murder. People wanted to hear from me and my perspective on things. I mean I didn't really understand why at first but it was a mystery so all the information they could get from me I was happy to provide.
I finally get myself out of bed and decide to go on a run on this beautiful day. Going on runs always made me relax and take my mind off of things for a while. When I return I see a text pop up on my phone from Lamar. He wanted to meet up for dinner. Hmmm. Why does he want to talk to me again? Does he have more information to tell me about the murder? My mind started wondering all the things that he could possibly talk to me about. I began to get nervous because of the uncertainty with this entire situation, but I go ahead and text him saying that I can meet up at 6:00 p.m.
I made my way to Alice's and see Lamar already there in the back corner. Why did he pick this spot? It seems kind of weird to be all secluded from the rest of the diner. In his message he mentioned that he had something really important to tell me. We start a simple conversation about how I'm doing and have I been stressed about the recent events in the town recently. I was honest with Lamar about how I've been feeling and discussed the overall vibe I felt around the town. Perfectly honest it was effecting everyone even if you weren't close with the people that got murdered. After explaining this to Lamar he drastically turned the subject to the attention of Ether and Edger's relationship. Frankly, I didn't know where this conversation was directly headed but with the drastic dynamic change I could tell this information was important about the murder...
