Mr. Evans

The day started with the annoying sound of my alarm waking me up to go to school. After snoozing my phone for the 23rd time I remove the warmth of my bed sheets from my body. As I shift in my bed I glance out of my bedroom window. The familiar view of dark gray clouds covering the sky and trees swaying with the wind didn't surprise me. Ever since the passing of Mr. Evans I haven't been able to sleep without hearing odd creaking in my room. Is he haunting me? I am not one to believe in ghost, but the past few nights have been too odd to say the least. I’m only a teenager with a mom that is never home because she is always working. Most nights I stay home alone in the apartment. Paranormal activity occurring in my room is the last piece of stress I need right now in my life. I proceed to do my morning routine and cook myself breakfast. As I open the pantry I see the gingerbread cookies that Mr. Evans and I shared the love for.
